I was a dancer when I was younger. I was happy, go-lucky and fearless, but then as an adult, I started to feel self-conscious about my body.
When I was 18 and still in dance school, my choreographer wrote plump on my CV.
This made me think that I wasn't thin enough; I lacked confidence even though I thought that maybe it wasn't true.
Honestly, embracing what you have is vital because even though it never gets better, you will only get older, which is not bad!
It's just something we have to accept as women who love our curves!
I just wasn't as confident as I am now. I lost my husband nearly 17 years ago, and I relied on him for so long that it was hard for me to live life alone.
It was devastating to learn how to do everything from scratch by myself.
So when I had to live independently, I realised many things about myself.
It was the most terrible experience because it changed my view of life. It made me realise how much I relied on him.
When I got out of IT and realised that modelling could be a good fit, it helped boost my confidence in myself again.
